AcroYoga is a collaborative movement practice that weaves together yoga, acrobatics, and therapeutic healing arts. Practiced with one or more partners, it combines strength, balance, trust, and connection through shared movement. AcroYoga is typically organized around three roles: the Base, who provides support and stability; the Flyer, who is lifted or balanced; and the Spotter, who helps ensure safety and clear communication. The practice encompasses two complementary branches: Solar AcroYoga, which is dynamic, playful, and strength-oriented, and Lunar AcroYoga, which focuses on restorative partner stretches, healing touch, and relaxation.
